Book Review: Where The Crawdads Sing by Dalia Owens

I am still processing how this book made me feel, and what I most took away from the story. I will say that I profoundly understood the main character, Kya, and her ambivalence towards making a human connection outside her contained world. Her apprehension resonated with me; however, what this book most amplified for me, was the strength of the human spirit:

—what one faces when battling the loneliness of the heart

—to endure in the space of isolation without apology

—how to trust another despite never being afforded the same

—facing the challenges that come from not belonging to the pack, yet still managing to thrive in the authentic.

...Most of all, finding beauty in 'enough'

Highly recommend.
