Book Review: Where The Crawdads Sing by Dalia Owens
I am still processing how this book made me feel, and what I most took away from the story. I will say that I profoundly understood the main character, Kya, and her ambivalence towards making a human connection outside her contained world. Her apprehension resonated with me; however, what this book most amplified for me, was the strength of the human spirit:

—how to trust another despite never being afforded the same
—facing the challenges that come from not belonging to the pack, yet still managing to thrive in the authentic.
